As the Storeman for Newkem Aust for about 25 years I have got to meet and know many drivers and staff over that time.
With the local pick up drivers, we always have a good understanding about picking up freight that suited both the driver and myself.
We constantally keep in contact by phone to organise the movement of pallets and if something urgent comes up the driver makes sure
he is here to get it.
Also when that urgent delivery does come, the staff in the office go out off their way to help in getting it delivered on time, which happens often to us.
The Douglas warehouse in Sydney is also very helpful in getting materials sent to us in times of urgent deadlines, making sure it is on the next truck to Nowra.
In that time I find damage stock is very rare. Which is a added bonus.
We will be using Douglas Transport, as we have been for over 30 years, for many years to come.
